DARRELL HESS & ASSOCIATES:  Over 270 parks SOLD!  WHY?
We educate buyers and sellers so they can make an intelligent, informed decision.
After all, we are dealing with a buyers life savings and a sellers retirement.

               Choosing a Broker:
      Questions You Should Ask ...
  1. Have you ever sold a campground or RV park before?
If so, how many?  Get details.

  2. How can you be helpful in pricing my park?  Will your price be based on comparable sales of other parks?  If not, what will it be based on?

  3. Where will you advertise?  Locally?  Nationally?  Internet?

  4. What procedures will you use to maintain confidentiality?  It is i
    mperative tha
t my campers and employees do not find out the park is for sale.

  5. Have you had any experience in obtaining bank financing for campground buyers?  How many campground transactions have you been able to get bank financing for?

  6. As a seller, I want the highest sales price but I don't want to get the park back.  What can you recommend to prevent this from happening?

  7. References:  Can you give me at least 3 names and phone numbers of attorneys with whom you have worked in negotiating a commercial deal?
How about the names and phone numbers of at least 3 sellers of campground properties that you sold and represented?

  8. How many paid support staff members (not commission sales associates) do you have to assist you in your brokerage business?  Who will handle the multitude of paperwork, phone calls and e-mails required to market  a park?
